Nana Yaa Brefo is a Journalist and a radio/television news caster in Ghana. She currently works at Angel Broadcasting Network specifically Angel TV/Angel FM.
She is an experienced media person and one of the popularly heard female names on radio. Also, Nana Yaa Brefo is an entrepreneur who owns Nana’s Pizza and other food services in Ghana.

Yaa Brefo is fully an Asante. Her mother is from Ejuratia and her father from Nsuta and both towns can be found in the Ashanti region. She spent most of her life living there.
With her Senior High School education, Nana Yaa attended one of the schools in Takoradi. She moved to Accra to farther on with her education and didn’t return back to the Western Region.
For her tertiary education, she pursued a Journalism course at the Ghana Institute of Journalism in 2000 and completed in 2002. She has been to other schools as well, but things didn’t seem to work out for her so she went ahead to focus on her work. Her work has now made her a household name in the media industry.
She has married before and is currently married. Again, Nana Yaa Brefo has a son who attends one of the SHS in Kumasi.
For her career in the media fraternity, she has worked with the, Despite Media Group (Peace FM) , Multimedia’s Adom FM/TV and now at with the Angel Broadcasting Network (Angel TV/FM).
