Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar has shared a piece of advice to her fellow ladies telling them what to do with their used pads.
Halima wrote that ladies should always wash out the blood from their sanitary pads as opposed to simply disposing it off with the blood in it.

Also aside the washing procedure, she stated that they can also get a pit and hide it. She expressed this as a good thing to do in order to take care of their blood
She wrote; ‘Start washing out your blood from your pads.“It sounds dirty but it saves lives.
Or if you have a pit, Good for you! Take care of your blood”.
