The 22nd Edition of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) 2021 climaxed at the Accra International Conference Center.
This is a two-days music performance and awards event which begun on Friday, 25th June, 2021 and the main event ending on Saturday, 26th June, 2021.

Since the VGMA started in the year 1999, the motive behind its existence is to honor Ghanaian musicians, industry players and stakeholders contributing their quota to the music and entertainment industry.
Again, the event takes place on a yearly basis and produced by event organizers Charterhouse Productions. Over the years, Vodafone has being the main sponsors for this Award scheme for years now and still counting.
As we all were expecting this year’s 2021 Vgma to kick start, announcements were made a couple of weeks ago with xperiences from some artiste that got nominations for different categories.
There were new categories introduced into this year’s VGMA. Both award nights thus on 25th and 26th came with trilling performances from Ghanaian musicians including Kofi Kinaata, Yaa Yaa, Okyeame Kwame, Cina Soul and others.

Day 1
- Traditional Artiste of the Year – Manhyia Tete Ndwom.
- Music for good – Yaa Yaa.
- Instrumentalist of the Year – Nana Yaw Sarfo.
- Male Vocalist of the Year – MOG Music.
- Female Vocal performance – Abiana.
- Songwriter of the Year – Kofi Kinaata.
- Record of the Year – Adina
- Sound engineer of the Year – Richie Mensah.
- Life time Achievement Award -Bob Pinodo.
- Producer of the Year – Richie Mensah.
- Best African Artiste – Master KG.
- Best Video of the Year – MzVee (baddest Boss ft. Mugeez).
- Group of the Year – Keche (No dulling).
Day 2
