There have been matters arising here and there following the awards from the VGMA22 edition. Many comments and videos have been made towards the VGMA Awards especially entertainment pundits and journalists. Most of them have been sharing their thought on how the musicians were awarded.
To be frank, the ultimate category many were waiting to know the winner was the “Artiste of the Year”. This year’s award scheme for Artist of the Year had the likes of Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Diana Hamilton, Adina, Sarkodie and Medikal on. It was really a tough category with the best and top Ghanaian musicians.

From facts checked, it was on the lips of many Ghanaians to see KiDi win that particular category. Based on the hard work he did amidst corona, many thought he was the best choice. But unluckily for the highlife and afro beats singer, he lost. He had a positive mind set towards winning the award.
It took many by surprise when female gospel musician, Diana Antwi Hamilton was announced the Artist of the Year. Among them is a lady who even went to the extent of videoing herself to blast the board. The lady in the video bodly stated she felt shocked when she waked up to hear the news of Diana Hamilton as the Artist of the Year.
And for that matter, she bodly stated in the video the award given are wack since they don’t go to the rightful owners.
